Glad I’m not the only one thinking this. Not that they will be civilized, but United States folks and perhaps those who write primarily in English and belong to some North American and European countries, they tend to be more confident on social media platforms that are owned by their countries … and behave with a kind of “online swagger”. Meanwhile most of us who are from other countries are more conscious about “behaving” because we know that we’re not on our own digital territory.
It’s interesting to see the whole thing flip for the Americans, and how they behave on digital platforms that are not “theirs”.
