This sort of thing is exactly why the moment he got out of the Army he flooded companies that are located where it never snows...the "Objective " part of the resume said exactly one sentence: move me to where it is warm. The first southern move messed up because I only specified "warm" and not "warm with few stupid people" and wound up in West Virginia for a year. Fixed the objective and was in SoCal by the following year.
