2/2 @cwebber I'm also thinking about creating a non profit organization in Canada for hosting and managing some of these federated social networks. I'd love to get mstdn.ca, lemmy.ca and other *.ca networks under one banner and have a central hub for these services to help Canadians find these services. And also have a plan for getting government subsidies to financially support them. Just so we can have sovereignty over our social media, information and data.
