@cinnamon @Wintermute_BBS the horizontal line issue is relatively easy to fix, it is almost always about the connection between the lcd screen and the board.
You would need to open it up and reflow the connector by passing a soldering iron on top of it.
I have revived two Game Boys with this issue.
If you don’t feel comfortable with that, you could try to place a small piece of cardboard between the connector and the case to increase the pressure but it is a hit an miss.
