I deliberately tried to keep my setup minimal with the move to Kbh by keeping the services on a Tailscale-connected VPS + Home Assistant on a passively cooled Pi and a SSD/HDD hybrid for storage and hourly backups. I tried hard to balance noise/energy/complexity and don’t let my gear acquisition syndrome win
