Das Problem könnte daran liegen, dass die Datei auf einem Samba-Share liegt. In einem lokalen Verzeichnis tritt es nicht auf.

Desktop ist MATE.

Okular ist eine KDE-Anwendung, und Dolphin hat zumindest in dieser Konstellation auch Schwierigkeiten mit Samba-Shares.
