What I've learned in the past couple of hours:
- I am not immune to Hatsune Miku propaganda :miku:
- Fortnite has extensive anti-heat and does not work in Linux.
- But you can play it through Cloud Gaming services like Amazon Luna and Xbox Live, of which I think the Xbox one is free, but I'm using the Amazon one because I get that through Prime and I know it works.
- Amazon Luna works in Linux, on Chromium, on Ubuntu, in a Snap.
- Chromium 131 (stable) somehow broke keyboard input in Fortnight, but the Edge candidate Snap implements the new keyboard permissions API, which Luna supports and handles gracefully.
- You can get the Miku skins through the Fortnite battlepass, which you can progress through their new rhythmg ame so you don't have to do the battle royale stuff.
- Cloud gaming obviously introduces latency, which is the worst possible way to play rhythm games.
- You can progress the battle-pass without buying it, and then buy it afterwards and get the rewards you would have gotten (I think)
- I am really bad a rhythm games :ina_tehepero:
Miku's cute though
