controlling electromagnetic radiation is literal magic. you can see through shit or give someone cancer or treat cancer or transmit stuff very far away or heat stuff up without cooking yourself
i just reheated some soup in a microwave and was like if we had magic able to heat stuff up we'd totally use it to cook shit and it'd be like the most normal everyday thing ever
