Amsterdam University Library lettering. 23 languages, 6 writing systems. Over a thousand meters of lettering. Each line is 46 cm tall, 21 lines from top to bottom. 3D printed and then a metal coating. A lot of people worked on this: MVSA architects did all the buildings and roof, and the concept of this facade. Engineering: Nedcam, Binx Smartility, Fiberneering, JC Straaltechniek and Vero Metal. The lettering design and layout: LettError. With export support from Aleksandra Samulenkova (Greek), Anya Danilova (Cyrillic), Bahman Eslami (Arabic) and Daniel Grumer (Hebrew and Yiddish). All translations and languages by the various faculties. Check out Nieuwe Doelenstraat in Amsterdam. More about this project https://letterror.com/uva
