Newsom will lose a presidential run. He's proven himself spineless and unprincipaled. Even if that's what you like in a president, it's critical that you understand corporate right-wingers like him are unelectable in a general.
Him being a corporate lick spittle is why he is, broadly speaking, part of the climate problem. Capitalism is killing our planet and he is part of the machine that reinforces corporate money in our politics, keeping the status quo in effect.
