This whole thing with Meta bums me out. I was really hoping the point where I actually want to stop using Instagram would come because they kept making the user experience worse, rather than it turning out that the top brass doesn’t really care about things like human decency unless it’s politically convenient, apparently…
The guideline specifically allowing people to call LGBT+ folk mentally ill feels like such a slap in the face, a direct message that we aren’t welcome anymore.
