This is probably a good thing in the end. The people in Chinatown where the new stadium was to be built were dead set against it and they should have had something approaching a veto in the first place.
I also have to wonder if this isn't what 76ers management was after in the first place.
The 76ers have struck a deal with Comcast Spectacor to stay in South Philly and abandon plans for a Center City arena
