I'm trying to get a good understanding of existing fire-smart prevention techniques in Southern California. I'm sure climate and environmental scientists are inundated right now, but if anyone has a good set of sources to read through, I'd much appreciate it!
The California landscape is very similar to parts of Yugoslavia/Mediterranean I am familiar with. I'm thinking about things like this over there:
