As we are approaching rapidly a dark new world, with democracy at risk everywhere, I’m thinking a lot about my auntie lately.

Born 1900. Antifascist, socialist till her death.

I’m grateful I had her in my life.

For she taught me, no matter what comes my way to walk upright, keep my head up, flick off the onslaught and keep on doing the right thing.
