Young people aren't using FB, although Instagram is designed to cater to even under-13's who legally shouldn't be allowed on the platform (in the US, due to COPPA restrictions on collecting personal info from under-13's without parental consent).
Meta is currently being sued by 33 states, over deceptive business practices in acting like tobacco companies and claiming their products aren't addictive, toxic, nor targeted to children, when they know with data that they are.
