IMO, what I said about the overturning the election (pre-Jan 6) applies to the Greenland, Canada, Panama stuff: It's a joke until people in his orbit show they're willing to act on it. The scary part is that even the actors who find it totally over the line have strong individual incentives to humor him and hope goes away rather than getting into a direct confrontation, which only encourages it to fester in his inner circle
