I’m hoping @benroyce or others knowledgeable on the subject can explain the rationale behind blocking Threads and Bluesky? I have started following and boosting content from both sources when the content is good. Is that bad for Mastodon users in the fediverse? We obviously do not want to encourage reliance on Meta and other platforms of dubious ownership, but what’s the harm in federating?
