@curtosis Absolutely, I wouldn't want to use something critical as storage without proper monitoring in place either.

Luckily there are solutions, so I've set up smartctl with E-Mail notifications using this guide: https://bsdbox.de/en/artikel/tipps/freebsd-smart#smartmontools 👍
