I haven't crocheted in years, but I still have a tidy supply of yarn and all of my hooks. Last night, I went to Walmart and bought a big ball of cotton yarn to make some dish cloths. Something simple to ease me back into crocheting. Since Sundays are not terribly busy at work, I expect I'll have a few made by the end of the day. My only dilemma is that I have forgotten how to thread a yarn needle once the project is done and I need to weave in my ends. So far, all of the tutorials I have been able to find on Youtube have been most unhelpful because it's assumed that I can see the video to follow along with what they're doing. I had the same problem years ago when I first learned to crochet, so I know I will figure it out. I am completely self-taught. I think I had a book that was written specifically for blind crocheters, but it's been so long, I have no idea what I did with it. (It's a digital file, not a physical book.) I might ask chat GPT to give me instructions on threading a yarn needle. Anyway, I'm excited to take up crochet again. I love to create things, and I haven't been doing that lately.
