But in hard times we can still experience kindness, personal growth, and incredible strength. Let this be a year of kindness, growth, and strength for you.
Let this be a year of fighting fascism in your country, in your community, and (perhaps most importantly) in your mind. This is the year to kill the cop in your head.
Let this be a year of frequent introspection and staying true to your core values.
If you're in the crosshairs of a fascist administration, we hope this year is full of helping hands reaching out to give aid and protection. Let this be a year where you survive and thrive as your true self, and may the bigots and naysayers choke on your happiness.
If you're not in the crosshairs, let this be a year where you reach out to help with no reservation or judgment. Ask "what can I do," not "why should I help."
