@V I remember there was a Shut Up and Sit Down podcast episode where they fielded a question from someone who was going to a south pole station and was looking for some board game recs. In their first mail they where under the impression that they'd basically be introducing more complex board games to the station, but they quickly found of there was a thriving board game scene there already.
Regarding the screenshot, I'm very amused by the fact that it looks like they have anywhere between 5 and 10 copies of Settler of Catan in that cabinet, I wonder how they feel when some bright-eyed new arrival comes bearing Yet Another Copy of Settlers of Catan.
