The custard layer is complete and the trifle is now in the fridge ready for whipped cream tmrw. One of these years I will do a day by day construction diary. For now be happy in the knowledge there is sherry, raspberry jelly and cake, then pear quarters, next layer is a pound of raspberries. Custard on top. Cream and grated chocolate tomorrow just before serving
