@DaveRyder @techlifeweb The important thing is the method, rather than device. For learning/study scenarios, I recommend reading “How to take smart notes” (Ahrens). It’s about Luhmann so it’ll be familiar to PKM/Zett people, but the important part is actually the studies showing how much the conventional methods do not work; things like highlighting/underlining in books/handouts, or typing near-verbatim excerpts from lectures.
