@JulianWgs Very true — the "performative" aspect of working where you're not actually producing output of value is a real unfortunate aspect of today's workplace. I'd like to think that it's not rewarded (it certainly shouldn't be), and thus dissipates on its own with time, but that sadly only holds true in some places and not others. I actually wrote an article internally at work on our perception of how other people work that talks to this a little. I should try to see if I can post that too
