long day. Before dawn woken by the storm hitting the west coast (US) and blowing doors open. Howling winds and torrential rains. Then a few hours later power went out for about 9 1/2 hours. Power back now, and internet of course (yay!). No phone signal here in the house when power is out. (boo!). Best is now the furnace is back as it was starting to get a bit chilly. Now time to relax and regroup for tomorrow.
