A recent and interesting report by Tracy Bergstrom & Dylan Ruediger on the present and possible future strong impacts of Generative AI on the whole ecosystem of scholarly publishing.
Quite complete, though with a strong bias to my opinion, which can be viewed from the interviewees list. I think this latter is the first thing to read.
