Will something like GDPR come to the USA?

This year, the Federal Trade Commission found "large social media and video streaming companies engage in vast surveillance of users with lax privacy controls," and made key recommendations for change.

At Plausible:

• We never collect sensitive information

• All stats are aggregated

• We don't use cookies or persistent identifiers

• We are compliant with all privacy laws and practices by default
