We were supposed to be on a train to York this morning for a Xmas weekend away with friends - unfortunately my wife tripped on a kerb last night just 25m from our house 😬
Had to call an ambulance as couldn't move her arm, spent 2 hours on the cold floor with very kind neighbours bringing her blankets and hot water bottles and offering us hot drinks.
She's very lucky, the top of her humerus is displaced at her shoulder. The only treatment for this is to allow the arm to hang down into a sling.
