I despair how government is still proud of pushing a narrative that tourism contributes about 5 per cent to the national economy, but conveniently never mentions that 12 per cent of the working population are employed in the industry. It's not so great a narrative when you'd have to admit that the majority of employees only work on seasonal, part-time minimum income.
