Today, exactly 27 years and 7 days after I wrote my first Net Results column, I'm retiring it (and me, though I'll still do occasional pieces and book reviews for the Irish Times). What an amazing trip it's been! I've been incredibly honoured to write the IT's tech column for such an incredible expanse of tech history.
