I do actually have an idea for an auto-shower that should decrease the time and effort needed by a lot.
It's sort of an upside down L shaped frame that rotates around the showerer, and has soap/water nozzles along it.
Hits you with the sudsy water first, then rinses you off, then blasts warm air to dry you off somewhat.
It's based on an automated car wash.
