@grtcdr @sqrtminusone I didn't notice the use of read in the article! I particularly hate the use of the word "consume." It sounds dystopian to me so I'm easily irked :/
I agree. Emacs has empowered me significantly: I can do whatever the hell I want. If the goal isn't within my reach, I can work towards achieving it to eventually (TM) reach it. With propriety solutions, it is basically unreachable.
