We all knew that a warmer summer and thus a warmer Lake Erie was going to make for quite the lake effect snowfall, but this is ridiculous.
Erie International Airport had 22.6" of snow officially, but pictures from across the area show an easy 3' (1m) of snow in 1 day. This event will rival Christmas 2017 for a snowfall event in NW PA and the Western Southern Tier of New York.
Luckily, I'm 50 miles away and haven't experienced any snow.
