@gomijacogeo I agree it has pros and cons. It does give the OP the chance to forbid someone to post on their threads, but as you say, also conceals who was being so awful as to deserve it. Personally, I think I prefer it as it reduces the reach of disruptive people and allows OPs to impair their spread, but the jury's still out. I think the nuclear block is a direct response to Jack Dorsey's plaint with Twitter staffing huge centralized moderation rather than enabling the community to do it.
