In Opinion number 1800 that nobody asked for, I think "THX" is one of the dumbest shortened words, ever, with "TY" being a close second, because in either case, you apparently can't be bothered to actually thank someone for whatever they did! Also, it really fucks with my head that "they" is an appropriate pronoun to refer to one person these days but isn't gramatically correct.
