Got SPAM from Target.com sent to through my on-line account. I logged into my preferences to attempt to opt-out of getting such SPAM.
NOPE. There's no option on the site to not get marketing emails. Tried to call the customer service line and got an AI phone tree to offer me a special offer on a Medic Alert device. Selecting NO for all options drops me to their support desk, which hangs up the call.
I'd say TARGET, now teaming with CVS and UNITED HELL-THcare, has reached end-stage enshitification. There's no way to contact a person. All the links to leave feedback don't work. And there's no option to close the account.
After going through all this, I just wanted to reach through the phone to a person and kill them dead with a Klingon Disruptor set on SCREAM IN UNENDING PAIN AND DIE.
And there's no Target on Mastodon to kvetch to them.
