I think though that we're past the point of no return. I don't see Threads or Mastodon adopting #ATProtocol, and I don't see Bluesky adopting #ActivityPub.
This is a shame. Enabling people and communities to connect regardless of the platform they choose is a cause I believe in passionately. #BridgyFed is a clunky solution that nevertheless shows promise.
