Education showerthought (from someone who discovered a directory of incremental games here: https://www.metafilter.com/206186/Wigging-Out) -- are long-term farming / building / upgrading games like this good for teaching mathematical literacy? Do the benefits outweigh the addictive qualities?
I'm specifically thinking of Kittens Game, where you have to keep track of exchange rates, compare the cost/benefit of different upgrades, and calculate the total time needed to accumulate resources (in series & in parallel).
