let us cultivate a way of seeing advertisement by using its aesthetics and means to advertise imaginary things. we will dilute the intensity of advertising's power over us by associating its power with unobtainable things, with nonexistent things. the other day I saw an advertisement for a movie, and for a split second I assumed the movie didn't exist. that the poster was glossy packaging around empty space. the power was gone.
