I've spent this whole election feeling conflicted about donating to canvassing efforts, but today I made a donation I feel good about: Down Home North Carolina, a rural organizing group in North Carolina working to build multiracial, working-class power.
I'm not from NC, but I figured they could use some help after Helene, and these folks seem like they're looking out for their fellow neighbors.
