Well, this gets into a deeper discussion about who really runs the show.
I mean in theory if the wrong people win the election, the regime might do just about anything. If they were to execute some high level military / oligarch leaders, it certainly would not be without precedent.
But do the real powers that be actually allow everything to hinge on the coin-toss of an election?
I tend to think no, I think the voting machines are ACTUALLY going to go for Trump, because Trump is just the next logical step in the program.
