The local #municipal swimming pool is getting into the spirit of #Samhain / #Halloween with an impressive display of #pumpkin lanterns inside and outside their main entrance. 🎃
(Some would probably love to grumble at the “waste of money”, but a few pounds’ expenditure is negligible, it’s cheery, it keeps monsters at bay (no tentacled creatures or sharks found in the depths of the pool!) and I’m sure it helps parents encourage their kids to go for a swim, so all to the good in many ways?)
