I typically hate when grocery stores start selling Christmas stuff before the Christmas season; before Halloween season, even. I saw Walmart start selling Christmassy things in early September and audibly groaned.
This does not apply to egg nog.
There is no such thing as too soon for egg nog.
In an ideal world, egg nog would be in stock all year long.
