Every once in a while I get CIFS: VFS: No writable handle in writepages rc=-9 and something in my kernel dies. Great Linux stability there, especially since this is Ubuntu 24.04 and it'll be supported for a long time. There's a patch, but the person submitting it didn't do it properly and it got rejected, so the bug stays. My only options are to either upgrade my kernel or patch it with a patch I don't even know will work.
