To Americans who emigrated to Canada:
Please talk to me about what surprised you, good or bad, about making that move.
I don’t need to know about Canada’s immigration process, its requirements, or the time and money it takes. Assume I’ve done my research there.
But I want to hear about the little (or big!) things that did or still do arise when you were approved, and made that move. What didn’t you know, and you wish you’d known?
