@Tim_Eagon Encounters starting at my local shop in college is what got me started with 4e after my table bounced off it hard when it first came out.
Then the shop needed a substitute DM for a few weeks, and I stepped in, then moved to Michigan and found a group there and then that shop needed a DM to step up to replace one who moved away.
We actually extended the Neverwinter season of Encounters into a 4e home game that went on for years until one of the players died a couple years ago.
