Saw a warning pop up from one of my (several) weather-related iOS apps. It mentioned possible pool ball sized hail.
I immediately imagined the size of the ball they use in water polo, or that I've ever played with while in a pool.
All the blood ran out of my face.
Then I realized... "billiard ball" is what they meant.
