@cjsaylor @idbrii everything would have to be transformed before being drawn as the actual framebuffer in memory is laid out top->bottom left->right, which doesn't normally need to happen in a pure 2d engine. (It would also be a lot slower) Changing it would complicate everything, not to mention that this has been the standard for so long you'd literally confuse everyone with it.
