You want to have something for unclear reasons and are trying to come up with contrived reasons you need it. You're working backwards from wanting something to coming up with reasons you should want it instead of having reasons to want it and then requesting it. Cellular is implemented via an isolated radio and other than SIM support is similar to Wi-Fi radios.
