o1-preview is the new model of OpenAI and it focuses on reasoning. So far from what I have tested it is very impressive in coding and data modeling. And so I think it has a very big impact on digital humanities ... my main job is modeling and coding. It creates very good data models or TEI XML models from historical sources, for example.
It is also good at planning, which is very important for agents, and very good at mathematics.
Probably the biggest development since GPT-4.
